Dental Cleaning without sedation consists of removing the tartar accumulated on your dog’s teeth over months or years. We first play with them ( lots of kisses and belly scratch) to get their trust, then we swaddle the dog like a baby (it makes them to feel cozy and comfortable). We comfortably position your pet on our laps using relaxation techniques which allow your pet to feel secure and relaxed. These relaxing techniques approach the 5 senses that triggers the brain to relax: 1) music to relax dogs. 2) cromo therapy – we use a purple light that also improves the relaxation. 3) acupressure – we massage certain points of their body that are points of relaxation. 4) we use adaptil, it’s a natural pheromone that makes them to feel secure – we spray the adaptil on the swaddle. 5) sometimes we use c.b.d oil to relax them. Then We remove all tartar with professional instruments and after we polish the teeth.
